Scottish Cheese Selection
With Fraser, the owner being Scottish, we like to have a range of Scottish products in the shop, especially cheese. We’ve put together this selection of three of our favourite Scottish cheeses and added a pack of delicious Arran Oatcakes to go with it along with Galloway Lodge Chilli Jam.
Bonnet - a delicious hard goats cheese from Dunlop Dairy in Ayrshire. With a cheddar-like texture, Bonnet has a lovely light and herbaceous flavour with a slight citrusy tang.
Hebridean Blue - a rich and creamy blue cheese from the Isle of Mull, Hebridean Blue has some similarity to Stilton, but with richer flavours of malt and black treacle.
Minger - one of our most popular cheeses, the superbly named Minger has a soft, gooey centre with full, nutty flavour, edging towards farmyard as it matures.
