Price Increases

You may have noticed that we’ve increased our prices at Froth & Rind this month. This is not something we like doing and we’ve held off as long as possible, monitoring our accounts, but with the energy price hike we have no option.

While renewing our energy contract we were quoted a new price over three times what we’re currently paying. After shopping around the best we can find is just over double what we’re currently paying, still a huge increase in our costs.

This followed on from a lot of other price increases over the past few months. Most cheeses, British and European have increased in price, delivery costs have gone up, milk (as a coffee shop we go through a lot) has increased by 35%, and there have been general price increases on most other things, especially cleaning products and PPE.

We absorbed this for as long as we could, but as mentioned, the energy price increase has made price increases necessary.
